Product description

From the deepest layers of the earth to the warmth of a loving hand, this ring tells a story of time, pressure, and the patient art of discovery. Born in the storied deposits of Burma, the ruby at the heart of this piece began as mineral and heat, crystalizing into a transparent, Vivid Red Pigeons Blood treasure that drew the attention of seasoned gem hunters. C.Dunaigre certified, this cushion shape ruby weighs 1.40 carat, measuring 7.01 by 6.95 by 3.13 millimeters, and it carries a mixed brilliant cut that balances fire and depth. Evaluated at eye level as slightly included, the stone reveals natures signature without diminishing its vivid color saturation, and its excellent polish allows light to pass and dance through every facet. To hold this ruby is to hold a moment of the earths long history, a moment that was preserved, recognized, and certified so that its next chapter could be written by a jeweler and by you.

Once the rough was chosen, master cutters and polishers took over, translating geological history into wearable brilliance. The mixed brilliant cut was selected to enhance the ruby core color, while permitting scintillation around the pavilion and crown, creating both depth and lively reflection. Surrounding the ruby, a halo of white, round shaped natural diamonds was set to frame and lift the red center, together weighing approximately 0.42 carats. These diamonds carry clarity grades of Very Slightly Included, evaluated as VS1 and VS2, and a color grade of F, chosen to offer crisp, cool contrast to the rich warmth of the ruby. Each diamond was individually matched, examined, and placed to ensure even light return and a balanced halo silhouette. The craftsmanship that brought these elements together focused on proportion and harmony, ensuring the red heart remains commanding, while the diamonds enhance rather than compete.

The ring is entirely set in 18K yellow gold, a metal chosen for its warm tone and enduring presence. The goldwork around the setting was sculpted to be both secure and graceful, with prongs that lift the ruby high enough to catch light, and a gallery that allows light to travel under the stone, increasing its apparent depth. Yet the design also honors daily life, with a band that has been meticulously finished for comfort. The interior of the shank features a comfort fit contour that sits gently against the finger, and the exterior is highly polished and smoothed to eliminate edges that might catch on fabrics or irritate skin. This smoothness makes the ring ideal for regular wear, allowing the wearer to move through days and evenings without the ring becoming a hindrance. Every surface was considered, from the way the prongs feel when sliding a ring on, to the reassuring weight of 18K gold that signals lasting value.

When you fasten this ring, you are accepting more than an object, you are accepting a layered narrative of place, craft, and intention. The Natural Ruby Company has guided this piece from mine to studio to finished jewel, maintaining a commitment to provenance and clarity at every step. The slightly included clarity and natural origin are part of its authenticity, and the certification by C.Dunaigre provides documented confidence in what you wear. This ring is suited for a milestone, a daily emblem of passion, or an heirloom conversation starter that will pass stories into new hands. For care, gentle cleaning with warm water and mild soap followed by a soft cloth will preserve the polish, and periodic professional inspection will keep prongs secure. If you would like further details about this stone, its certification, or customization options, The Natural Ruby Company is ready to guide you with both gemological knowledge and sincere attention to your desires.
