Product description
Color is the most significant factor affecting a ruby’s value. Many of the finest specimens are considered a pure, vibrant red such as this one. What’s even more special about this particular stone is that its color is all natural, not enhanced with heat treatment. Even more impressive, we’ve given it our highest color-intensity rating—vivid—which means it has the most color saturation possible without being opaque or “over-colored.” It also has a stellar clarity with very slight inclusions, unlikely to negatively affect its transparency or brilliance. All of these qualities are expertly showcased in an oval shape with excellent length-to-width ratio and table percentage, a fitting testament to such a fine stone.
