This marquise ruby was born in the mineral-rich soils of Thailand, and its journey to your hand is a story of patient discovery and careful transformation. GIA certified Purplish Red, this 1.35 carat marquise weighs with precise dimensions of 13.62 x 4.85 x 2.47 mm, and its mixed brilliant cut was selected to balance fiery sparkle with elegant elongation. The rough stone was examined by experienced gem cutters who revealed an intense color saturation and brought the stone to an excellent polish while preserving its natural transparency and character. At an evaluated eye level the clarity is very slightly included, a mark of authenticity and natural origin that gives the gem its soul and uniqueness. From the mine to the lapidary table to our jeweler’s bench, the ruby has been treated with reverence, each facet placed to catch light and to preserve the stone’s original heartbeat.
The ring that cradles this ruby is designed as a conversation between strength and tenderness, with white round and pear shaped natural diamonds as companions. On either side of the marquise you will find white round shaped diamonds totaling approximately 0.28 carats, with clarity grades of Very Slightly Included in VS1 and VS2 ranges and a color grade of F. Complementing them are white pear shaped natural diamonds weighing approximately 0.20 carats, also graded Very Slightly Included in VS1 and VS2 and color grade F. These stones are set in 14K white gold, a contemporary metal that highlights the ruby’s warm purplish red glow while offering a cool, luminous frame. The mixed brilliant facets of the ruby and the high clarity diamonds work together to produce a dance of light that elongates the finger and focuses attention on the heart of the design. The pear shapes introduce a soft teardrop silhouette that echoes protection and tenderness, while the round brilliants provide steady, resilient radiance.
More than an object, this ring is a symbol, and The Natural Ruby Company brings that symbolism to life through craftsmanship and provenance. The marquise silhouette speaks of a voyage, its pointed ends a promise of direction and destiny, and its elongated body a vow of enduring beauty. The purplish red hue carries meanings of passion tempered with dignity, creative inspiration paired with compassion, and a noble warmth that is both intimate and majestic. The surrounding diamonds represent clarity and fidelity, small beacons that reflect commitment in every facet. Set in 14K white gold, the ring becomes a modern heirloom, suitable for marking milestones, sealing vows, or celebrating personal triumphs. When you choose this piece you receive more than a gemstone, you receive a narrative from mine to masterwork, backed by GIA certification and the careful stewardship of The Natural Ruby Company. If you would like to learn more about the stone, view the ring in person, or discuss custom fittings, I am here to guide you through every step, ensuring the ring you choose resonates with the story you want to tell.
