Product description
Here’s a natural ruby from Myanmar (formerly Burma) with the prized “pigeon blood” red color, the descriptive term for the reddest ruby color. Here, that color has been heated for enhancement, as certified by the GemResearch Swisslab in Lucerne, Switzerland. This ruby’s special hue is well-saturated throughout the stone for our highest color-intensity rating of “vivid.” It also exhibits only very, very small visible inclusions, seen mostly from a side angle. Since fine-quality rubies over one carat are very rare, a carat weight of 2.02 carats adds to its prestige. Showcased in a square cushion shape with rounded ends and curved sides, and with a mixed brilliant cut of nearly 100 facets, this ruby is one to treasure for a lifetime.
