Product description
The geography of East Africa is stunning and scenic, giving rise to such natural wonders as the volcanic Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest freestanding mountain in the world. Another of its natural wonders is this ruby, with a red hue that’s been heated for enhancement with “excellent” color stability, as certified by the American Gemological Laboratories. The hue also saturates the stone well for an “vivid” color-intensity rating. The ruby’s clarity is rated VS1, VS2 for inclusions or small internal crystals that are only slightly visible on close inspection, but are not serious in plain view. At 2.55 carats, it’s a sizeable ruby, with a classic oval shape that will make any jewel erupt with beauty.
