Product description
Oh l’amour. What could be more romantic than a heart ruby shaped into the unmistakable symbol of love? This particular ruby weighing 3.06 carats was mined in Myanmar (formerly Burma), a country known to produce rubies with a vivid purplish-red color that’s considered the finest among collectors. Here, that color has been enhanced by heat treatment. A clarity with slight inclusions or small internal crystals are only visible on close inspection but are not serious in plain view. This allows for an adequate view into this ruby’s inner glow. Its very good length-to-width ratio indicates a slightly wide cut c’est magnifique for a solitaire ring.
