Its rosy hue, heat-treated for enhancement, permeates throughout the ruby without moving toward opaque or “over-colored” for a “vivid” color-intensity rating. A clarity rating of VS1, VS2 means its inclusions or small internal crystals will not greatly affect the view of its smoldering interior. The beautifully faceted round brilliant cut maximizes brightness and is suitable for a plethora of ring and pendant designs.
